The Gladbrook-Reinbeck REBELS High School Basketball teams are AT HOME TONIGHT [01-18-18] and away at South Hardin on FRIDAY NIGHT! 

The GRNT High School Wrestling team has two home meets in Traer this week!  The first meet is tonight [01-18-18] in Traer starting at 6:15 PM and the next will be a tournament in Traer on Saturday [01-20-18] starting at 9:00 AM!  GO REBELHAWKS!


G-R YouTube VARSITY BASKETBALL VIDEO BROADCAST - 01-18-18
G-R will host the Dunkerton Basketball teams tonight.  JV games begin at 4:00 PM.  Varsity Girls' tip off is set for 6:30 PM, followed by the Boys game. 
The Varsity games will be aired on the G-R Rebels YouTube channel.  G-R Head High School Boys Basketball Coach, Scott Kiburis, will do a pre-game interview at the end of the first quarter of the Varsity Girls' Game, and the G-R Head High School Girls Basketball Coach, Bruce Bailey, will give us a post-game interview at the end of the first quarter of the Varsity Boys' Game.

KDAO VIDEO BROADCAST - 01-19-18
KDAO CONTINUES coverage of High School Basketball Friday night from Eldora!  South Hardin will host the GLADBROOK-REINBECK REBELS in an NICL West Conference CLASH.  Andy Jennings will call the game for KDAO.  The "Dave Wright Auto Pregame Show" begins at 6:00 PM.  Varsity Girls tip-off is set for 6:15 PM, followed by Varsity Boys game.  Click on the KDAO video link below to watch both games online.

G-R After Prom is a GReat organization of parents and volunteers who put together a fantastic and safe post-prom event for G-R Prom goers.  Every year, they out-do the previous year with their creative decor and activities!  In order to put this together - they need MONEY!  If you can -- PLEASE support the G-R After-Prom Committee by enthusiastically participating in their next fundraiser! * 01-23-18, Tuesday = TREAT BASKET SILENT AUCTION at the Home Basketball Games (vs. Sumner-Fredericksburg) at the G-R JH-HS.


SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT - Noah Ohrt Memorial Ewings Sarcoma Research Fundraiser: 01-26-18
Many G-R staff, students and community members remember Noah Ohrt, a G-R student who passed away in 2014 from Ewings Sarcoma.  Noah's family members are organizing a benefit to raise money for Ewings Sarcoma causes.  The "Noah's Love" event will take place on January 26, 2018 at the Lincoln Amvet Hall.  At this fundraiser, there will be a silent auction, dinner, and after that a live performance from the Dallas Moore Band! The money raised will go to Ewings Sarcoma research and towards families and children that are going through what the Ohrts went through.  Tickets are available now for $15.00/person (kids 12 and younger are $10.00/person) or $20.00 at the door.  Cost of ticket includes food and band entertainment!  
Silent Auction starts at 4:30 PM, Dinner starts at 6:30 PM and Band starts at 8:30 PM.

AWAY GAME DINNER DATE NIGHTS!
For the loyal REBEL NATION road-trippers who wouldn't miss an away game...here are some special dinner menus that the competing schools asked us to share with our G-R fans:

01-19-18:  G-R vs. South Hardin:  Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction from 5:00-7:00 PM.  Meal cost is $5.00 and includes spaghetti, bread stick, lemonade and homemade dessert.  The Silent Auction closes at half time of the Boys' Varsity Game.  See attached flyer for details.

01-30-18:  G-R vs. East Marshall:  A Pasta Supper Fundraiser for the Trinity Lutheran Church of Dillon Youth Group will be held on Tuesday, January 30th at the EM vs Gladbrook-Reinbeck BB games.  We will begin serving at 5:00 pm in the  East Marshall HS (Le Grand) commons area.   The meal will consist of Pasta with sauce, garlic bread, corn, and a variety of desserts.   Please join us as we raise money to send our youth to the 2019 LCMS National Youth Conference in Minneapolis, MN.   A Freewill Donation will be accepted.

Dear G-R Families:  We are excited to have school start on Wednesday morning, 08-23-17!  Just as a reminder, our school day starts at 8:20 a.m. and dismisses at 3:25 p.m.  If your child would like to have breakfast at the Elementary Building or at the Junior High-High School, they are welcome to come between 7:45 and 8:15 a.m.

If you are one of G-R's rural route families, you should receive a phone call from your driver letting you know what time the bus will stop at your home in the morning and what time it will arrive in the afternoon.

If you are a G-R in-town Gladbrook family, please refer to the informational Bus Stop letter which was mailed to you after registration.  Buses will be picking up students in Gladbrook between 7:25 and 7:45 a.m.  Bus stop pick-up times are as follows:
