Gladbrook-Reinbeck staff, students and families:
Please take some time to make sure you and your families are prepared for school late starts, winter weather gear and bus hard surface route schedules.

For those families on a rural G-R Bus Route, your driver should give you a copy of your bus Hard Surface Route information. If you need to review this information on-line, the schedule is posted on the Gladbrook-Reinbeck website under the "District" tab. Or, you can click on the "Bus Route & Hard Surface Route Information 16-17" link below.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Iowa School Alerts Announcement re: Change in Vendor and New Sign-up Information
The Gladbrook-Reinbeck School District utilizes Iowa School Alerts as one of its primary notification methods to alert the public regarding school cancellations, delays, and early dismissals, as well as other important announcements. One of the convenient components of this service is the ability to have the message sent directly to any cell phone or email that you register with the system.
PLEASE NOTE that the State of Iowa switched vendors for this service and the previous system (15-16) and its list of subscribers ceased to operate effective June 30, 2016. The new system is called GovDelivery Iowa School Alerts and we encourage everyone to click on the "Iowa School Alerts Sign-Up" link below or go to "
https://public.govdelivery.com/accounts/IAEDU2502/subscriber/new" and and sign up to receive announcements from this new system. It only takes a minute to sign up.

ANOTHER IMPORTANT CHANGE: KWWL (Channel 7) and KCRG (Channel 9) no longer support their text alerts system. KWWL and KCRG replaced their text alert service with a Smart Phone App. If you wish to download the KWWL or KCRG weather apps, please go to the stations' websites for more information.
